At Tiny & Sons, we know auto glass service can raise a lot of questions. Our team is here to provide clear answers and guide you through every step, making sure you always feel informed, confident, and cared for along the way.

  • Replacing your windshield will usually take around an hour to complete, depending on the vehicle. We take our time to ensure the highest quality installation in your vehicle.

  • To ensure the safety of your vehicle, we suggest waiting at least one hour after installation to drive your vehicle. The windshield plays a vital role in the airbag system of your vehicle and should be given time to cure before you drive the vehicle.

  • We would be more than happy to come out to your home or office to complete your windshield. Our mobile installations follow the same strict guidelines as our in-shop installations.

  • In cases of inclement weather (rain or snow), we do not recommend replacing your windshield outside; however, if we can get the vehicle under cover, we can complete the installation. The surface of the vehicle must be dry to ensure the glue adheres properly.

In cases where the temperature drops below 30º, we suggest getting the vehicle inside or bringing it to the shop, as many of the car pieces are made of plastic and may break due to a combination of stress on the parts and the cold temperature.

  • Yes, Tiny & Sons provides commercial auto glass replacement and repair services for commercial vehicles and fleets. We offer services for heavy equipment and rigs, including semi-truck windshield replacement.

  • We use OEM and OE-quality glass for safety and reliability.

  • Your auto insurer may pay for windshield replacement if your policy includes a comprehensive or full glass coverage add-on, as damage from falling debris, animals, or vandalism typically falls under comprehensive coverage. The cost you pay will depend on your deductible and whether your policy includes full glass coverage, which often waives the deductible.

  • We will complete all of the paperwork and send the bill directly to your auto insurer. We aim to remove the hassle associated with windshield repair or replacement.

  • Tiny & Sons provides the following warranties on our work:

    • Replacement Warranty - All auto glass replacement is warranted for one year against defects of workmanship. Fixed glass installations (those that do not operate) are warranted for the life of the vehicle or the length of the warranty, whichever is shorter, against leakage, except that which occurs as a result of vehicle collision damage or panel deterioration (rust). All operating parts are warranted for 30 days against mechanical failure.

    • Repair Warranty - Windshield repairs are warranted against spreading for the life of the vehicle or the length of the warranty, noted below, whichever is shorter. Warranty remedy is limited to the repair amount when used towards the purchase of a new windshield installed in the original vehicle. The applicable deductible for the new windshield will be the owner’s responsibility.

    • Limitations and Exclusions - The warranty expires with changes of ownership of the identified vehicle. This warranty relates to workmanship issues only, e.g., leakage. Glass breakage, which is not the direct result of the installation, is not warranted. In no event shall Tiny & Sons be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

To exercise your rights under your Tiny & Sons warranty, contact the Service Center where the work was originally performed. If that is not possible, call Tiny & Sons Glass for assistance at 781-826-6163. In either case, have available evidence of installation, such as the original invoice.
